Ministerial Staff
Bro. Ron is a native of Shelby County. He is a 1967 graduate of Vincent High School and a 1971 graduate of Samford University. In 1974, Bro. Ron received his Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry degree in 1996. He has served churches in Alabama, Kentucky, North Carolina, and South Carolina as well as serving as campus minister at Auburn University. Ron became the pastor of Meadow Brook Baptist Church in May of 1993. He was married in 1971 to Karen Elliott, also of Vincent. They have two children, Katie and Sam.

Dr.Lyn Stike
Bro. Lyn is the newest member of the ministerial staff coming to us after 26 years in the Army. He served in local churches for 13 years before entering the Armychaplaincy serving around the world including Iraq. He calls North Carolina home and graduated from North Carolina Wesleyan College in 1977. After graduating from Southeastern Baptist Seminary he received his Doctor of Theology from Evangelical Seminary. Bro Lyn completed his formal education with a MA from Baylor University. In 1971 he married Jackie Burns from Sandusky, Ohio. They have two adult daughters, Lisa and Jennifer, and five grandchildren.

James oversees our adult education ministries. He is a graduate of Auburn University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served churches in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama for over 30 years. Suzanne, his wife, is a high school teacher. They have two "nearly grown" daughters, Bethany and Jordyn.

Rev. David Eanes
David is our Minister to Children and Families. He is from Birmingham and graduated from Vestavia Hills High School in 1990. He received a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from the University of Alabama in 1995 and a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2001. Before coming to Meadow Brook Baptist Church in the fall of 2007, David served as Minister of Families and Discipleship at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL. He and his wife Cammie have two children, Jacob and Molly.

Minister to Senior Adults
Rev. Clyde Dutton
Clyde is minister to our Senior Adults who are called “Pacesetters.” He is a native of Jefferson County and a 1961 graduate of the University of Alabama. He retired from the US Army in 1997 as a Colonel. Clyde has served as Minister of Music at Ryan Baptist Church in Montevallo and Center Hill Baptist Church in Jemison. He was Ordained to the Gospel Ministry in July of 2002. As Pastor’s Assistant he assists the pastor in hospital and prospect visitation. He and his wife Gloria have three children, Sherri, Clyde Jr. (Dusty) and Stacey, and are blessed with seven Grandchildren.
Minister to Youth
Chris began serving as Student Minister at Meadow Brook in May 2011. Originally from Arkansas, Chris and his wife, Ashley, moved to the Birmingham area where Chris received his Master of Divinity in December 2010 from Beeson Divinity School at Samford University. Prior to that, he attended Ouachita Baptist University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies and in Speech Communication. Specifically, Chris has a desire to communicate the Word of God and to see people grow in Christian discipleship. Chris and Ashley have a baby girl named Kinsley.
